We have an immediate full-time opening for a Business Advancement Strategist possessing strong communication, selling, investigative, organizational, and client-focused competencies at our corporate studio in Orange County, CA.

Experience Level:  2-5 years

You will:

  1. Build goodwill and relationships by foster client engagements;
  2. Discover client opportunities;
  3. Gather accurate client information;
  4. Clearly and concisely describe the client’s challenge or opportunity;
  5. Define the client’s vision and goal for each project.

Our Business Advancement Strategists work closely with clients across all industries to help them understand how to use ideation and innovative thinking to solve brand protection and safety challenges and enhance business value in their organizations.

Responsibilities / Tactical Activities

Client Relationship Management

  • Become the expert within your assigned client portfolio and/or industry
  • Initiate relationships by researching, identifying, and qualifying prospective clients
  • Drive communication with potential clients to deliver Spellbound’s value proposition
  • Foster new and current client relationships to discover opportunities relating to brand protection and safety
  • Assist with client awareness and marketing campaigns
  • Understand and explain how to use innovation and ideation processes to protect our clients employees and customer
  • Conduct research and synthesize data into client communications
  • May include supporting and attending tradeshows and conferences

Opportunity Framing

  • Understand the client’s challenge based on the info gathered, discussions and meetings
  • Understand and present the client’s vision to the internal team for a successful outcome
  • Support and assist with the production of compelling and engaging project proposals, presentations and meetings by addressing and gathering information pertaining to:
    • Client challenge and opportunities
    • Identify client’s meaningful goals and needs and obtain buy-in from all stakeholders
    • Prioritize Client’s goals
  • Identify obstacles and risks that may impact a successful completion of our Client’s vision and goals

Internal Team Collaboration

  • Understand the design and development process and its inherent challenges
  • Work collaboratively, proactively, and positively within the organization
  • Communicate diligently with consistent follow-through

Qualifications

Client Relationship Skills

  • Natural curiosity about business operations and desire to help improve performance

  • Talent and comfort with developing connections with people inside and outside of an organization

Communication Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills

Technical Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, sales force automation tools, and other computer tools;
  • SAP experience is a plus;
  • Sales Force Software experience a plus

Experience

  • In-depth experience in managing client relationships, conducting research, and  synthesizing information into meaningful and relevant insights
  • Minimum 2 years successful selling and/or influencing experience
  • Background in consultative selling a plus
